Trees to hire for weddings, trees for birthdays and trees for corporate events. You can also rent smaller plants to arrange as  underplantings around the trees you choose to create an even more distinctive effect.

You can hire loos and trees separately or together. Whatever you choose, we deliver, set up and collect on dates and at times to suit you. Trees, especially if they are underplanted (which makes them look more natural and beautiful) weave a bit of magic by helping large rooms and marquees look less empty while at the same time making them feel larger.

A Stress-Free Event!

I have discovered how stressy getting married can be. You have a mental checklist of all the things that can go wrong (lost ring, stained dress, tripping over the veil, giving 170 people food poisoning, the groom not turning up, a bad best man's speech, smelly, blocked toilets...

Fortunately, none of the above happened and everyone went home happy. Unbelievably, nearly half of the thank you letters afterwards complimented me on the choice of loos. More than mentioned the marquee (which really looked great). So, thank you Silver Street  for being so utterly fantastic.

More than just a loo

We decided to marry in woodland, but give our guests as comfortable a time as possible. These loos were the best all round we found in Somerset. Everything that should, worked. The "little" touches such as handwash, towels and the smell or - more to the point - lack thereof made such a difference. And the silver loos are just so cool that I think we should book for 25 years from now!

FAQ

  • We are headquartered in Castle Cary in Somerset and cover Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire & Somerset. Delivery is free within a 20 mile radius of Castle Cary.

  • You can pay by bank transfer and some credit cards. We ask for a £100 deposit to confirm your order and you pay the balance not less than 14 days before your delivery date.

  • Your toilet trailer is 6.5m (22f) long, 2.5m (7ft 6in) wide and 3m (10ft). So for access, you will need a minimum of 2.65m (8ft) - without tight bends. There must also be a clear 3.3m (10ft) overhead. If you are worried your entrance is too narrow or twisty and/or you have overhanging trees we can arrange a site visit.

    When the steps are fitted to the trailer, the width is increased to 3.2m (10ft 6in).

    We are good at reversing, but a towed trailer needs at least 50% more turning room than a large car.

  • All units are trailer-mounted and towed to and from your site using 4x4 trucks.

    Within reason you can have delivery and collection whenever you want. We suggest delivery 1-2 days before the event and collection shortly afterwards.

  • Yes you will need both, but we can get around most problems. We can connect to any outside tap and we have (very) long hoses if necessary.

    For electricity we can connect to a 13amp (domestic) or 16amp (generator or Ceeform) socket.

    When the water heaters are on, a toilet block can use up to 3Kw.

  • Your loos come with everything needed including the best toilet paper, great paper hand towels and the very best hand wash and moisturiser.

    Season and weather permitting we also try to provide locally grown flowers.

  • We try to be as flexible as possible,  and we can provide a "refresh" service if you are planning a second event. 

    It is important to remember the waste tanks are large enough for a long one day function. a one-day do for the maximum number of people for which the unit was designed. shown for that particular unit. So, let’s discuss.

  • Every part of your toilet block is tested and checked before delivery and all units are serviced frequently. We want a failure almost as little as you do!

    However, all machinery fails at some point, and it would be silly to say otherwise. So, no matter how unlikely, if you hit a problem such as a blockage or electrical failure (please check to make sure the cable is plugged in at both ends) you can call us 24/7 for advice. If that does not work, then we will send an on-call engineer to you straight away.


  • Yes, Our units are equipped with heaters and work well in all but the most extreme weather conditions.


  • The cubicles and wash areas are totally divided. You can see layout plans on the individual unit pages.

  • We provide recycled paper products wherever possible. Our units are recirculating so they use very little water. The chemicals we use contain no formaldehyde and neither do our cleaning fluids.
